We are joining forces with UK Export Finance to ask businesses that compete for international contracts to consider three simple yes/no questions:
If you are an export-ready business and you answer no to any of the questions, we suggest you try out a few more questions here. This link takes you to a form, hosted by Google, which asks you some more questions. You can then go on to use submit the form to request a free and independent consultation with a regional export finance manager from UK Export Finance. They can discuss your circumstances in more detail and consider next steps that could help you win, fulfil and get paid for export contracts.
If needed, Willis IRM will work with UK Export Finance to help arrange insurance against the risk of non-payment for businesses in emerging markets where getting credit insurance can otherwise be difficult.
If you don’t know UK Export Finance, it is the UK’s export credit agency and helps UK companies get the finance and insurance they need to grow internationally. As a government body it isn’t interested in growing its market share, only yours. But it is also commercially minded, with specialist staff from financial services backgrounds, offering tangible pounds and pence support for UK businesses. If necessary UK Export Finance itself will issue government-backed loans, guarantees and insurance policies to support your exports.
