The company immediately sought the assistance of their HR and H&S providers, Willis Employment Services, and over the furlough period all the necessary steps were taken to comply with the guidance.  This included the purchase of suitable PPE, the provision of partitions/barriers, floor markings and explanatory signs within the factory.

Willis Employment Services worked closely with the company and the HSENI and carried out new Risk Assessments and provided the relevant reports to the HSENI as requested.

Subsequently, the factory was able to reopen on Monday 20th April 2020.  The representative from Willis Employment Services was present at the start of each shift to explain to staff what steps had been taken to comply with the government guidelines and to answer any queries that were raised.

The service provided by Willis Employment Services was both impressive and professional.

The assistance of Willis Employment Services was invaluable throughout this process and we are in no doubt that we would not have been able to reopen the factory without their input.
